Study on the underlying mechanisms of radioresistance in breast cancer.
Research Description
Our group is interested in understanding the molecular mechanisms that control the radiosensitivity/radioresistance in breast cancer. At present, radioresistant cell lines derived from breast cancer cells have been established. Currently, we employ a wide range of experimental approaches including gene chip, protein mass spectrometry, molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry and other technologies to elucidate the potential gene regulation, protein expression and related signal pathways. Our research will shed light on the progress of radiotherapy in breast cancer, as well as on the clinical treatment of cancers.
