Research Interests
Infertility is a complex multifactorial disease that affects up to 10% of couples across the world. However, many mechanisms of infertility remain unclear, leading to ineffective treatment and/or transmission of genetic defects to offspring.
Research in our lab ranges from clinical studies to basic molecular biology for understanding the molecular biology and impact of in vitro fertilization to improve safety and efficacy of assisted production. We identify gene mutations that causing infertility human and use a combination of mouse genetics, histochemistry, biochemistry to study the mechanism of infertility.
