Research Interests
Peritonitis is the main cause of peritoneal dialysis technique failures. Mesenchymal stem cells MSC can alleviate peritonitis and delay fibrosis. Large conductance calcium activated potassium channel BKCa is the key molecule of affecting inflammation. However, the mechanism that BKca affecting immunological characteristics of MSC exosome remains unclear. We aim to elaborate the mechanism of BKCa affecting the negative immune regulatory characteristics of MSC exosome in peritoneal inflammation, and search for a new target for the prevention and treatment of peritonitis.
