Research Interests

• Our long-term research interest involves the comprehensive understanding of key mechanisms in cancer biology/immunology which may lead to the discovery of novel therapeutics. We focus on dissecting the fundamental role of chromatin remodeling and/or DNA damage response in modulating anti-tumor immunity. By targeting the vulnerabilities elicited by the defects of chromatin remodeling and DNA damage repair machinery, we aim to further advance the understanding of immune evasion mechanisms in cancer. We’re particularly interested in: (1) multi-omics study for target discovery using cutting-edge technologies (e.g. scRNA-seq, High-performance computing); (2) dissecting the immune-modulatory mechanisms mediated by chromatin remodeling and DNA damage; (3) developing novel strategies of targeted-, immuno- and combinational-therapy to obtain durable therapeutic responses.
