Research Interests
Dr. Liao Wang is an expert in adult reconstruction and orthopedic sports medicine. He provides stepwise treatments for hip and knee patients, covering arthroscopy, osteotomy, and arthroplasty. He tries his best to prevent arthritis, manage arthritis, and treat complications of arthroplasty surgeries.
He focuses on safe and correct surgical techniques. Many errors in joint replacement are avoidable, which is why he creates a customized patient-specific 3-dimensional surgical plan and then uses computer-assisted technology to execute that plan. Meanwhile, he researches ways to improve hip and knee surgical planning and the outcomes of computer-assisted techniques.
