Research Interests
TAO Xiaofeng, the director of Radiology Department of Shanghai Ninth People’s Hospital, specializes in neuroradiology, and head and neck imaging. In recent years, in-depth researches have been carried out in the fields of multimodal functional imaging, molecular imaging, radiomics, etc., focusing on early diagnosis and biological tumor margin determination of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma. In recent years, he has published more than 100 SCI papers in Nano Letters, Radiology, Medical Image Analysis, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces and other journals as the corresponding author or the first author, and received 7 NSFC grants, including one key projects. For his outstanding contributions, he was awarded the second prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award in 2016 and the second prize of Shanghai Medical Award in 2021.
