Research Interests
In recent years, she focused on the pathogenesis of reproductive endocrinology. It was found that paternal high glucocorticoid exposure could promote hepatic gluconeogenesis and hyperglycemia in offspring through altering the DNA methylation level in sperm. Further studies demonstrated that glucocorticoid could regulate gluconeogenesis through Gadd45b-mediated DNA demethylation. Based on these studies, she has presided over three projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and published several research articles in high-quality journals, including Cell Metabolism, Journal of Experimental Medicine and et al.
