Research Interests
My research team has focused on the etiology and treatment of large to giant congenital melanocytic nevi (lgCMNs) for seven years. The nevi with a projected adult size exceeding 20cm are categorized into large CMNs while those exceeding 40cm are giant CMNs. LgCMNs are benign melanocytic tumors of the skin, but patients born with lgCMNs have a lifelong risk of melanoma and neurocutaneous melanosis. The following is our ongoing research:
The immunotherapy and targeted therapies of lgCMN;
The pathology study of lgCMN;
The genetic landscape of lgCMN.
Importantly, the project of immunotherapy of lgCMN based on PD-1/PD-L1 blocker combined with IFN-γ intervention is funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China (Project Number: 8187080691).
