Research Interests
The Oncology Research Group of Xu Ming at the Shanghai Ninth People’s Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine mainly focuses on three academic aspects: 1) Post-Translational Modification (PTM) of protein and its biological function in tumorigenesis and cancer cell metastasis, including cell signaling transduction, DNA damage response, DNA/RNA stabilities, and RNA generation or processing. 2) Function of dysregulated or modified non-coding RNAs (e.x. miRNA, lncRNA, circRNA, and snoRNA) in cancer disease. 3) Screening, expression, and pre-clinical application of human antibody genes using bacteriophage display library technology.
