Research Interests
Dr. Yang has been focused on investigation of vascularized composite allotransplantation (VCA) since 2008 when he was in Uppen. VCA now represents the highest complexity and top surgical skills in clinic. His team is devoting to revealing molecular mechanisms in VCA immunology and transplant immune tolerance in animal research. Besides, genetical mapping, imaging navigation and biomarker analysis in congenital diseases such as blepharoptosis and some rare skin tumors (fibrosarcoma protuberans, neurofibroma) are different research projects that Dr. Yang’s team are now investigating.
