Research Interests
As an EXCO members of ISAR (International Society of Auricular Reconstruction), I am interested and active in otoplasty and ear reconstruction. My major research focused on: 1. clinical practice modifications and improvements on auricular reconstruction from the experiments of more than 4000 cases over the past 15 years. 2. Tissue engineering human ear morphological cartilage construction and its clinical application. 3. The role of relevant regulatory molecules in abnormal development of auricle in embryos and genetic factors and pathogenesis of non-syndromic congenital microtia.
