Research Interests
Dr. Ruan interest in design of implantable biomaterials and the understanding of the ensuing cellular responses. Dr. Ruan also research on the epigenetics and pathogenesis of ocular oncology and targeted cancer therapy based on nanotechnology including of gene nanocarrier, multimodal theranostic nanoprobe and nano immune adjuvant. Dr. Ruan co-authored 40+ research paper, co-invented 10 issued patents and transformed 2 patents into industry. Dr. Ruan is the international editorial board of Biomaterials and young fellow of the Society of Nano oncology, the China Anti-Cancer Association.
