Research Interests
Our group major research interest are to study the pathogenesis of thyroid diseases. His group has discovered 8 novel genes which contributed to the susceptibility of Graves’ disease and identified that AITD are existed as different subtypes underlining specific molecular mechanisms which needed to be optimal treated. They further discovered the deficiency of genes involved in the late stages of thyroid development resulted in congenital hypothyroidism. Their work has been published more than 150 articles in Journals such as Nature genetics, Science, Nature Communications, PNAS, which have been cited more than 6500. He is a winner of “New Century National Hundred, Thousand and Ten Thousand Talent Project (China)”.
