Research Interests
Dr. CHEN is the Professor at the Center for Translational Medicine, Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. She received her Ph.D. degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2007. She has published peer-reviewed papers as the first or corresponding author in high impact scientific journals including Cell Metabolism, Nature Communications, Molecular Plant, Molecular Psychiatry and others. She has fundings from
CHEN’s long-term research goal is to understand the impacts of host genetics, metabolomics, microbiome, and environmental factors (diet, exercise, exposure, etc.) on health and diseases. Her current research involves: (1) Disease prediction, diagnosis, stratification, and prognosis by multi-source data analysis. (2) The investigation of new bioinformatics algorithms and development easy-to-use packages/platforms/databases for x-omics data analysis, interpretation and integration.
