Research Interests
Research interest of Prof. Dai is focused on exploring the pathophysiology and discovering the potential therapeutic targets of arthritis and allied conditions, mainly rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and psoriatic arthritis.
Recently, Prof. Dai has studied the pathophysiological roles of IL-18, IL-23, HMGB1 and VGLL3, as well as the therapeutic potential of cannabinoid receptor 2, in cultured synovial fibroblasts, articular chondrocytes, T cells, monocytes/macrophages, osteoclasts and osteoblasts, and animal models.
