Research Interests
Dr. Gao has been engaged in clinical basic research on targeted therapy for breast cancers. Dr. Gao’s research mainly focuses on the extracellular matrix and tumor development, including the role and mechanism of extracellular matrix hyaluronic acid as well as its receptors, such as CD44 and LYVE-1, in breast cancer metastasis, drug resistance, stemness, and lymphangiogenesis.
