Research Interests
Dr. He specializes in sports medicine and shoulder surgery. Dr. He currently serves as the board or reviewer for the American Journal of Sports Medicine, Bioactive Materials, and many other journals.
The research goal of Dr. He’s team is to generate novel strategies for both clinical practice and regenerative medicine, which involves:
diagnosing and treating sports injuries and degenerative conditions in shoulder and knee joints.
evaluating different surgical procedures using biomechanical or computational techniques to improve rotator cuff healing, shoulder stability, and overall performance of shoulder replacements.
investigating the mechanisms of various shoulder diseases and developing biomaterial-based strategies for tissue repair.
