Research Interests
Prof. Jia participates in the development of a series of new diagnosis and treatment technologies of hip preservation surgery, focusing on the basic research and clinical treatment of bone and soft tissue trauma, bone infection and osteonecrosis. Jia’s multidisciplinary team concentrate on the fabrication and application of innovative materials for bone repairing and antibacterial usages, including novel nanocatalytic materials, MOF-modified titanium alloys and borate bioactive glass. Innovative 3D printing techniques are also intensively explored and applied in research and development of new materials. To date, Professor Jia has achieved a series of achievements in clinical researches and scientific innovations.
