Research Interests
JIN Xian, Ph.D., is an Associate Chief Physician and Graduate Supervisor. He is an associate director of the Structural Cardiology Group of Shanghai Cardiovascular Branch of Chinese Medical Association, and a member of the Emergency and Critical Care Group of the Cardiovascular Branch of Chinese Medical Doctor Association. He engaged in advanced trainings in interventional therapy of the structural heart disease and systematically studied cardiac imaging evaluation and analysis at Princeton Medical Center in 2018 and at Wake Forest University Medical Center in 2020 in the United States. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of both common and difficult heart diseases, especially in intervention of complex coronary heart disease, transcatheter treatment of valvular heart disease, left atrial appendage occlusion, catheter thrombectomy for pulmonary embolism, etc. He participated in the compiling and writing of "The Progress of Cardiology", "Panvascular Medicine - Concepts and Clinical Practice" and other literature. He has hosted 2 general projects and participated in many projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and published over 10 SCI articles as the first or corresponding author.
