Research Interests
We aim to study gut microbiota closely associated with metabolic diseases (such as alcoholic liver disease, fructose metabolic disease…), by screening natural intestinal microorganism which plays important function in human metabolism, elucidating the function of specific gene and metabolic products in related gut microbiota and modulating metabolic products level of body through gene manipulation in gut microorganism. We want to find out the relationship between gut microbiota and metabolic diseases, improve the metabolic capacity of gut microorganism to counteract the metabolites level in the disease and provide a significant way for the treatment of metabolic diseases.
