Research Interests
Professor Wang is mainly engaged in the clinical and basic research of biliary tract carcinomas (BTCs). In terms of clinical research, he pioneered perihepatic surgery techniques, and overcame five categories of perihepatic biliary diseases, including stones, inflammation, tumors, injuries and congenital malformations, which greatly improves the cure rate of complex biliary diseases and reduces the morbidity and mortality. In terms of basic research, he mainly focuses on the mechanisms of chemoresistance and metastasis of BTCs. He has published 53 SCI articles, including high score journals such as Hepatology, Molecular Cancer, Nature Communication, etc., and accumulated more than 200 influencing factors.
