Research Interests
My research interests mainly focus on (1) regulation of inflammation in cardiovascular diseases, especially the essential role of resident cardiac macrophages for heart homeostasis, inflammation, aging, infarction/reperfusion injury, and fibrosis, etc., and development of potential therapy strategies; (2) neuroimmune crosstalk in inflammatory and autoimmune diseases, with the objectives to reveal communication and collaboration between distinct systems/organs/tissues.
