Research Interests
Professor Yue's research focuses on the clinical and genetic mechanisms of osteoporosis and metabolic bone disease. Based on the 1200 core families of osteoporosis established by us, a large number of candidate genes for osteoporosis in Chinese population were studied. More than 1300 families of hereditary osteopathy have been established, including hypophosphatemic osteomalacia, osteogenesis imperfecta, spinal epiphyseal dysplasia, progressive diaphyseal dysplasia, osteosclerosis, osteofibrous dysplasia and hypertrophic osteoarthropathy. The identification of the pathogenic gene of spinal epiphyseal dysplasia with progressive pseudoarthritis and the identification of the new pathogenic gene PFN1 of early-onset Paget's disease with giant cell tumor were reported for the first time in the world. More than 20 papers included in SCI as the first author and corresponding author have been published and 4 NSFC projects as the project leader have been presided over.
