Research Interests
Clinical, biomechanical and kinematic study in the structural and functional reconstruction of the knee and the shoulder, especially in the field of knee ligament reconstruction and treatment of patellofemoral disorders, irreparable rotator cuff tear and complicated shoulder instability.
Basic research in tendon-bone healing enhancement and regenerative sports medicine, especially regarding knee ligament, meniscus, cartilage and rotator cuff regeneration, as well as tendon-bone interface regeneration.
Research and development of medical devices for the repair in the locomotor system, including operating instrument and implants, such as receiver-transformable artificial ligament, receiver-transformable artificial rotator cuff, absorbable ligament fixation devices, and shoulder supporting system for irreparable rotator cuff tear.
