Research Interests

• Clinical/basic research mainly focused on the diagnosis and interventional treatment of hemorrhagic and ischemic cerebrovascular diseases.

  The clinical treatment includes:

1. endovascular treatment of ruptured/unruptured cerebral aneurysm, cerebrovascular malformation, cerebral dural arteriovenous fistula and traumatic carotid cavernous sinus fistula;

2. mechanical thrombectomy for the treatment of acute ischemic stroke;

3. endovascular treatment for chronic extra- or intracranial vessel stenosis or occlusive diseases;

4. endovascular treatment of peripheral vascular disease and transcatheter arterial chemoembolization for tumors.

The research directions include:

1. basic research of endovascular treatment for hemorrhagic and ischemic cerebrovascular disease;

2. the interventional devices development for cerebrovascular disease,

3. multimodal imaging diagnosis of acute ischemic stroke, and

4. other new interventional instruments for interventional therapies.
