Research Interests
Prof. Zou Derong focuses on the research of rehabilitation of bone loss around implants. Since 2012, he has been working on the research of bone loss reconstruction with graphene and other carbon-based materials and his research results have been published on multiple international journals such as Adv. Mater., Adv. Funct. Mater. and ACS Appl. Mater. Interfaces. His research has attracted attention by relevant journals who published special reports regarding his work. Moreover, his research results were quoted by Chemical Reviews, 2017, 117(3): 1826-1914 and Nano Today, 2014, 9: 378-394 who provided schematic diagrams, detailed explanations and positive reviews regarding his work. He has published almost 100 research papers, including more than 50 SCI journal papers of which the highest impact factor researched 21.9.
He has been in charge of more than 20 research programs, including general programs funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China, Basic key projects from Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality, programs involving international cooperation, medicine-engineering interdisciplinary research programs, programs funded by the Scientific Research Fund of Shanghai Health Bureau. Prof. Zou has been elected as one of the Top 100 National Clinical Teachers and Outstanding Mentors from Shanghai Young Physician Training Subsidy Program.
