Research Interests
Dr. Lu is specialized at the surgical treatment of children with congenital heart defects, including Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD), Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF), Transposition of the Great Arteries (TGA), etc. His basic research is directed at understanding the cellular and molecular mechanisms of congenital heart defects, and his clinical research interests are focused on finding new clinical treatments as well as optimizing the present surgical methods of congenital heart defects.
