Research Interests
As a chief physician as well as master’s supervisor, I’m working at Xinhua Hospital, Shanghai Institute of Pediatric Medicine, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine.
I’m mainly engaged in the screening, clinical management, and prenatal diagnosis of pediatric endocrine genetic diseases, including methylmalonic acidemia, phenylketonuria, primary carnitine deficiency, dwarfism, precocious puberty and hypothyroidism. Meanwhile, I have conducted systematic clinical and basic research on methylmalonic acidemia, propionic acidemia, glutaric acidemia type I, and primary carnitine deficiency.
In addition, I’m a member of the Pediatric Branch and Endocrine Genetic Metabolism Group of the Chinese Medical Association; a member of the quality control expert group of the newborn screening laboratory of the National Health Care
