Research Interests
Her clinical research focuses on pediatric gastroenterology and nutrition, including congenital diarrhea, short bowel syndrome, chronic intestinal pseudo-obstruction, constipation, inflammatory bowel disease, nutrition of preterm infants, parenteral nutrition-associated complication and optimization of endoscopic practice. Her basic research aims to explore the mechanism of how intestinal epithelium responds to the surroundings, such as nutrients and microbiota, and how the intestinal barrier contributes to the pathogenesis and intervention of gastrointestinal inflammatory disease, liver disease and systemic inflammation.
