Research Interests
Postdoc. at Center for Hearing and Deafness, SUNY at Buffalo, USA, and fellow in Gruppo Otologico, Italy. The main research field concludes (1) Basic research in otology: molecular mechanism and intervention of acquired hearing impairment. (2) Oto-neurology and skull base surgery: facial nerve injury and repair. Three grants, funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, are about the transport mechanism of cisplatin into the inner ear, the mechanism of mitophagy and apoptosis in cisplatin-induced ototoxicity, and the autophagic mechanism of relative genes regulated by transcription factors in repairing facial nerve injury by Schwann cells.
