老年精神疾病診治中心
上海交通大學(xué)醫(yī)學(xué)院附屬精神衛(wèi)生中心老年精神疾病診治中心成立于1982年，原名老年精神科。該診治中心設(shè)有5個(gè)病房，共有329張病床，為病人提供門診和住院服務(wù)。住院部收治的疾病比例包括40%的各種癡呆亞型病人、30%的抑郁癥、10%的譫妄、10%的精神分裂癥和10%的其他器質(zhì)性疾病。醫(yī)師的日常職責(zé)包括臨床工作、醫(yī)學(xué)生教育、精神科醫(yī)生繼續(xù)教育、住院醫(yī)師和護(hù)士的老年精神病學(xué)培訓(xùn)，以及專注于老年性精神障礙（如阿爾茨海默病、輕度認(rèn)知障礙、老年抑郁癥等）和遲發(fā)性精神分裂癥的診斷和治療研究。診治中心使用了多種研究技術(shù)，如流行病學(xué)分析、神經(jīng)心理學(xué)、生物化學(xué)、腦成像、腦誘發(fā)電位和分子遺傳學(xué)等對(duì)疾病的發(fā)病機(jī)制、臨床特征和干預(yù)治療進(jìn)行深入研究。
自1998年以來(lái)，上海交通大學(xué)醫(yī)學(xué)院附屬精神衛(wèi)生中心老年精神疾病診治中心一直在努力進(jìn)行診斷和治療老年期癡呆的臨床實(shí)踐和疾病相關(guān)研究。鑒于癡呆是重要的老齡化社會(huì)疾病負(fù)擔(dān)和我們?cè)\治中心已有的診療優(yōu)勢(shì)，上海交通大學(xué)阿爾茨海默病及相關(guān)疾病診治中心（ADRDC）作為首批專病診治中心之一于2009年1月16日正式成立。肖世富教授為ADRDC和老年精神疾病診治中心主任。ADRDC相關(guān)的其他參加單位包括上海交通大學(xué)醫(yī)學(xué)院附屬仁濟(jì)醫(yī)院神經(jīng)科、上海交通大學(xué)附屬第六人民醫(yī)院老年科和上海交通大學(xué)附屬第一人民醫(yī)院老年科。ADRDC的目標(biāo)是整合附屬醫(yī)院的臨床資源，規(guī)范阿爾茨海默病的診斷和治療過(guò)程，加強(qiáng)研究和學(xué)術(shù)交流，提高阿爾茨海默病和其他相關(guān)癡呆的診斷和治療能力。
肖世富為上海交通大學(xué)醫(yī)學(xué)院附屬精神衛(wèi)生中心老年精神疾病診治中心主任和上海交通大學(xué)阿爾茨海默病及相關(guān)疾病診治中心主任。他還兼任中國(guó)老年醫(yī)學(xué)會(huì)和中國(guó)阿爾茨海默病協(xié)會(huì)副主任委員、中國(guó)心理健康學(xué)會(huì)心理評(píng)估委員會(huì)副主任委員、中國(guó)精神病學(xué)協(xié)會(huì)理事、老年精神病學(xué)委員會(huì)副主任委員。肖世富教授還是中國(guó)神經(jīng)病學(xué)協(xié)會(huì)認(rèn)知與癡呆委員會(huì)的成員。肖教授目前是一項(xiàng)大型隊(duì)列研究的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)者和設(shè)計(jì)者，該項(xiàng)目的目的是通過(guò)大數(shù)據(jù)分析獲得阿爾茨海默病患病風(fēng)險(xiǎn)因素，結(jié)合認(rèn)知評(píng)估，建立的臨床資料庫(kù)和生物樣本庫(kù)，以更早發(fā)現(xiàn)疾病，幫助老年人建立科學(xué)合理的慢病干預(yù)方法及自我管理方案，減輕親屬及社會(huì)的負(fù)擔(dān)，該項(xiàng)目目前由上海東方腦醫(yī)學(xué)基金會(huì)資助。肖教授還曾承擔(dān)數(shù)個(gè)國(guó)家科技部和上海市科學(xué)技術(shù)委員項(xiàng)目，對(duì)阿爾茨海默病進(jìn)行綜合性研究。肖教授主持國(guó)家科技重大專項(xiàng)，是甘露寡糖二酸（GV-971）II期和III期臨床試驗(yàn)的設(shè)計(jì)者和領(lǐng)導(dǎo)者。肖教授還曾接受了美國(guó)斯坦利醫(yī)療機(jī)構(gòu)的2項(xiàng)資助，并以PI或CO-PI的身份，在過(guò)去的十年中進(jìn)行了超過(guò)10項(xiàng)由國(guó)家食品藥品監(jiān)督管理局批準(zhǔn)的臨床試驗(yàn)。
肖教授是100多篇同行評(píng)議期刊文章的作者或共同作者，編輯或貢獻(xiàn)了36本科學(xué)著作。肖教授獲得的榮譽(yù)包括：世界衛(wèi)生組織中國(guó)神經(jīng)科學(xué)與精神病學(xué)最佳論文獎(jiǎng)（1991年），中國(guó)醫(yī)學(xué)會(huì)全國(guó)青年醫(yī)師最佳論文獎(jiǎng)（1992年），粟宗華基金會(huì)精神衛(wèi)生研究獎(jiǎng)（1996年），上海市政府科技進(jìn)步獎(jiǎng)（1996年，1998年），上海市衛(wèi)計(jì)委銀蛇獎(jiǎng)（1997年），中華人民共和國(guó)國(guó)務(wù)院津貼獎(jiǎng)（2000年），中國(guó)精神病學(xué)協(xié)會(huì)最佳論文獎(jiǎng)（2002年），中國(guó)精神病學(xué)協(xié)會(huì)論文獎(jiǎng)（2006年），上海市最佳醫(yī)務(wù)工作者（2008年），高等院校科技進(jìn)步一等獎(jiǎng)（2016年），上海市科技進(jìn)步一等獎(jiǎng)（2017年）。
Geriatric Psychiatry
The Geriatric Mental Disease Diagnosis and Treatment Center, formerly known as geriatric psychiatry department, at the Shanghai Mental Health Center was established in 1982. The department has 5 wards with 329 beds and provides both outpatient and inpatient services for patients. The proportion of disorders seen on the inpatient unit include about 40% with different sub-types of dementia, 30% with depressive disorders, 10% with delirium, 10% with schizophrenia and 10% with other organic disorders. The physician’s daily duties include clinical work, education of medical students, continuing education for general psychiatrists, training in geriatric psychiatry for residents and nurses, and research focused on the diagnosis and treatment geriatric mental disorders such as Alzheimer's disease, Mild Cognitive Impairment, geriatric depression, and late onset Schizophrenia. The department uses a variety of research techniques, such as analysis of epidemiology, neuropsychology, biochemistry, brain imaging, brain evoked potential, and molecular genetics, along with other techniques not discussed.
Since 1998, there has been an ongoing effort to diagnose and treat dementia in the Elderly. Because of this important task, the Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Center (ADRDC) at Shanghai Jiaotong University was formally established in January 16, 2009. Professor Xiao Shifu leads both ADRDC and the Geriatric Mental Disease Diagnosis and Treatment Center at the Shanghai Mental Health Center. Other departments affiliated with the ADRDC include the neurology department at Renji Hospital, the geriatric department of the Sixth People's Hospital, and the geriatric department of the First People's Hospital, all affiliated teaching hospitals of Shanghai Jiaotong University. The aim of the ADRDC and its staff is to integrate the clinical resources of the affiliated medical centers, to standardize the process of diagnosis and treatment of Alzheimer's disease, to enhance research and academic exchange and to improve the ability to diagnose and treat Alzheimer's disease and other related dementia illnesses.
Xiao Shifu is the Professor and Director of the Department of Geriatric Psychiatry, Shanghai Mental Health Center, Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine and the Professor and Director of Alzheimer Disease and Related Disorders Center, Shanghai Jiaotong University. He also is the Vice Chair of the Chinese Geriatrician Association and Alzheimer Disease China (ADC) Association, Vice Chair of the Chinese Mental Health Society’s Psychological Evaluation Committee, a board member of the Chinese Psychiatry Association and Vice Director of the Old Age Psychiatry Committee. Finally, Prof. Xiao is a member of the Chinese Neurology Association’s Cognition and Dementia Committee. Prof. Xiao currently is the Principal Investigator in a large study attempting to improve the early recognition and intervention of common psychological disorders in old age. This project is currently funded by the Shanghai Oriental Brain Medical Foundation. Prof. Xiao has also received funds from the Shanghai Science and Technology Committee for two different projects, to conduct clinical research on a new anti-Alzheimer’s drug and a comprehensive study on the diagnosis and possible treatment of MCI in the elderly. Prof. Xiao is also co-PI in an investigation contributing to new technology which will be used in medication trials for treating neurodegenerative disease and mental disorders. The latter study is funded by the China Science and Technology Ministry. Finally, Prof. Xiao received 2 grants from the Stanley Medical Institution of USA, and as PI or Co-PI and conducted more than 10 clinical trials approved by SFDA in the last decade. Prof. Xiao was the leading PI of phase II and phase III clinical trial of oligomannurarate (GV-971).
Prof. Xiao is author or co-author of more than 100 peer-reviewed journal articles and has edited or contributed to 36 scientific books. The honors which Prof. Xiao has received include the WHO-China Best Scientific Article Award for Neuroscience and Psychiatry, third place (1991), the National Best Scientific Article Award for a Young Doctor by the Chinese Medical Association, third place (1992), the Mental Health Research Award given by the Su Zonghua Fundation, second place (1996), the Science and Technology Advance Award given by the Shanghai government, second place (1998), the Silver Snake Award awarded by the Shanghai government (1997), the State Council Allowance Award awarded by the State Council of P. R. China (2000), the Best Scientific Article Award awarded by Chinese Psychiatry Association (2002), the Best Scientific Article Award given by the Chinese Psychiatry Association (2006), the Science and Technology Advance Award given by the Shanghai government, second place (2006), the Best Medical Worker of Shanghai as determined by the Shanghai Health Bureau (2008), the first prize of Science Technology Improvement Award of Science Research Famous Achievement Award in Higher Institution (2016) and the first prize for Shanghai Scientific and Technological Progress (2017).
