上海交通大學(xué)醫(yī)學(xué)院神經(jīng)科學(xué)學(xué)科組成立于2014年,,目前共有10位PI研究員,,其中國家高層次人才計劃2人,、國家杰出青年基金獲得者1人,、中國科學(xué)院“百人計劃”1人,、國家高層次青年人才2人,、國家優(yōu)秀青年基金獲得者1人,。在教學(xué)上,,學(xué)科組承擔了醫(yī)學(xué)院本科生和研究生《神經(jīng)生物學(xué)》,、《神經(jīng)科學(xué)前沿》,、《神經(jīng)生物學(xué)基礎(chǔ)與進展》、《神經(jīng)科學(xué)文獻精讀》共4門課程的教學(xué)工作,。在科研上,,學(xué)科組圍繞腦認知、腦疾病和腦調(diào)控,,布局感知認知,、神經(jīng)與精神性疾病在分子、細胞和環(huán)路機制上的前瞻性基礎(chǔ)研究,。近五年,,承擔科技部“中國腦計劃”項目、重大科學(xué)研究計劃973項目和國家自然科學(xué)基金重點項目,、重大研究計劃重點支持項目,、集成項目、培育項目,、國際(地區(qū))合作與交流重點項目,、面上項目、青年科學(xué)基金等50余項,,并在Science,、Neuron、Molecular Psychiatry,、Molecular Biology and Evolution,、Nature Communications,、Science Advances、PNAS,、Cell Reports,、eLife、Journal of Cell Biology,、Journal of Neuroscience等國際期刊發(fā)表論文60余篇,。

作為上海交通大學(xué)醫(yī)學(xué)院“以疾病為導(dǎo)向的腦科學(xué)交叉集成平臺”建設(shè)的腦科學(xué)研究計劃的重要組成部分,學(xué)科組建設(shè)腦科學(xué)研究中心(Center for Brain Science),,依托上海市教委重點支持建設(shè)的“腦認知原理解析”創(chuàng)新團隊,,積極對接“中國腦計劃”,以認識腦,、解析腦為核心,,致力于解析腦疾病發(fā)病機制,發(fā)現(xiàn)藥物新靶點,,正在發(fā)展成為認知相關(guān)腦疾病藥物研發(fā)及神經(jīng)調(diào)控干預(yù)機制的策源地,。腦科學(xué)研究中心聚焦“腦認知原理解析及認知障礙相關(guān)疾病機理”總體研究方向,細分為1)神經(jīng)環(huán)路發(fā)育與行為,;2)學(xué)習記憶原理與調(diào)控,;3)腦疾病藥物靶標發(fā)現(xiàn)等關(guān)鍵科學(xué)問題。腦科學(xué)研究中心在整合基礎(chǔ)醫(yī)學(xué)院腦科學(xué)相關(guān)研究力量的基礎(chǔ)上,,以基礎(chǔ)神經(jīng)生物學(xué)平臺建設(shè)為基礎(chǔ),,致力于深化與附屬醫(yī)院若干腦科學(xué)相關(guān)臨床科室的交叉合作,積極探索腦科學(xué)多學(xué)科整合發(fā)展新模式,,為上海建設(shè)具有全球影響力的科創(chuàng)中心提供重要支撐和推動力,。

為更好地開展腦科學(xué)研究中心的研究,學(xué)科組公共技術(shù)平臺通過整合原有平臺資源,,形成了以四個專業(yè)平臺為基礎(chǔ)的技術(shù)支撐體系,,包括:1)腦解剖-連接組學(xué)技術(shù)平臺:主要涵蓋多種離體和活體成像系統(tǒng),用于全腦水平連接圖譜的構(gòu)建,;2)腦生理-功能檢測技術(shù)平臺:主要包括豐富的離體,、在體電生理記錄系統(tǒng),以及光遺傳學(xué)刺激/調(diào)制系統(tǒng)和鈣活動記錄系統(tǒng),;3)腦行為-表型分析技術(shù)平臺:現(xiàn)有設(shè)備涵蓋感覺與運動,、本能行為、學(xué)習與記憶,、情感與社交等小鼠行為檢測儀器,,并配備有病毒注射、給藥管/光纖埋植的手術(shù)室等,;4)腦疾病-精準干預(yù)技術(shù)平臺:與上海交通大學(xué)醫(yī)學(xué)院附屬精神衛(wèi)生中心等附屬醫(yī)院共建,,現(xiàn)有儀器既包含多種臨床樣品的制備,、檢測和保存設(shè)備,還涵蓋經(jīng)顱磁刺激系統(tǒng)和同步腦電記錄,、多通道腦電記錄系統(tǒng)等精準干預(yù)和診斷設(shè)備,。

 

Discipline of Neuroscience


The Discipline of Neuroscience, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, was founded in 2014. The discipline now has 10 faculty members leading independent research groups. Among them, two are winners of the National High-level Talent Plan, one is the winner of “Distinguished Young Scholars” sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, one is the member of Hundred people plan sponsored by Chinese Academy of Sciences, two are members of the National High-level Youth Talent Plan, and one is the winner of “Excellent Young Scholars” sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. The discipline conducts teaching of 4 main courses, including Neurobiology, Frontiers in Neuroscience, Basics and Progress of Neurobiology, and Neuroscience Journal Club for undergraduate and graduate students of medical school. In scientific research, the discipline aims to understand mechanisms of sensation, perception, cognition, neurological and mental diseases at molecular, cellular, and circuitry levels, with the focus on brain cognition, brain diseases and brain regulation. In the past five years, the discipline has received and completed more than 50 national funds from the Ministry of Science and Technology of China (the China Brain Project and 973 National Key Basic Research Program) and National Natural Science Foundation of China (Major Program, Key Program, Integration Program, Training Program, Key Program of International Cooperation and Exchange, General Program, and Youth Science Program). Over 60 papers have been published in international prestigious journals such as Science, Neuron, Molecular Psychiatry, Molecular Biology and Evolution, Nature Communications, Science Advances, PNAS, Cell Reports, eLife, Journal of Cell Biology, and Journal of Neuroscience.

Being part of the Strategic Plan of Brain Science Development at Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine entitled with “A crossing and integration brain science platform based on the population cohort and guided by the study of brain diseases”, the Discipline of Neuroscience has initiated and sponsored the Center for Brain Science, which mainly relies on the key Innovation Team of “Principle Analysis of Brain Cognition” supported by Shanghai Municipal Education Commission. The center is aimed at actively docking with the China Brain Project, and dedicated to understanding and resolving the brain function, deciphering the mechanisms underlying pathogenesis of brain diseases, discovering novel drug targets, and growing into one of the cradles for drug development and novel neural modulation ways targeting cognitive-related brain diseases. The center focuses on “Principle Analysis of Brain Cognition and Mechanistic Study of Cognitive Impairment” as the overall research direction, which can be further categorized into three key scientific questions: 1) development of neural circuit and behavior, 2) principles and regulation of learning and memory, 3) drug target discovery for brain diseases. The center was established by integrating the research teams on brain science at Shanghai Jiao Tong University College of Basic Medical Sciences and grounded as the development of basic neurobiology platform. It has been longing for collaborating with brain science-related clinical departments from hospitals affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine and exploring novel mode for multidisciplinary integration development of brain science, providing an important support and driving force for Shanghai city to grow into the technological innovation center with global impact.

To provide technical support for the Center for Brain Science, the Discipline of Neuroscience has been actively running the brain research core facility with the goal to accelerate cutting-edge research into anatomical, functional, and physiological studies in neuroscience. The facility is composed of 4 main centers:  1) center for brain anatomy and connectome that includes in vitro and in vivo imaging workstations, 2) center for brain physiology and function that includes a large variety of instruments for electrophysiological recording, calcium imaging, and optogenetic stimulation, 3) center for behavior and phenotype analysis that includes behavioral paradigms covering sensation, motion, instinctive behaviors, learning, memory, emotion, and social behaviors as well as surgical suites for virus injection and cannula/optical fiber implantation, 4) center for brain diseases and precision treatment that includes equipment for preparation, detection, and preservation of clinical samples as well as systems for transcranial magnetic stimulation and electroencephalogram recording in collaboration with affiliated hospitals such as Shanghai Mental Health Center.
