生物化學(xué)與分子細(xì)胞生物學(xué)系是上海交通大學(xué)基礎(chǔ)醫(yī)學(xué)院建立的第一個(gè)系，是基于生命科學(xué)發(fā)展的趨勢和學(xué)科建設(shè)的總體布局而建立，并成為學(xué)院學(xué)科建設(shè)的示范,，目前已經(jīng)通過建立現(xiàn)代化的“PI制”學(xué)科管理機(jī)制,，形成了系統(tǒng)的研究體系和嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)、踏實(shí),、合作、積極的學(xué)術(shù)氛圍，建立了以本系為主體的“上海市腫瘤微環(huán)境與炎癥重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室”,，并進(jìn)入上海市高原學(xué)科建設(shè)，為醫(yī)學(xué)科學(xué)研究的發(fā)展和醫(yī)學(xué)卓越人才培養(yǎng)提供重要的支撐作用,。本系致力于腫瘤,、心血管、代謝和神經(jīng)系統(tǒng)疾病相關(guān)的分子細(xì)胞生物學(xué)問題,，從基因,、蛋白質(zhì)到生物學(xué)過程展開交叉與整合性的研究。近年來,，聚焦于“代謝調(diào)控”研究,，通過人才引進(jìn)、資源整合,、引導(dǎo)激發(fā)創(chuàng)新研究等,，推動(dòng)研究領(lǐng)域概念性的探索及臨床問題的轉(zhuǎn)化。
自2009年本系籌備以來,，承擔(dān)各類課題108項(xiàng),，包括多項(xiàng)科技部973項(xiàng)目、國家自然科學(xué)基金重點(diǎn)項(xiàng)目及重大研究專項(xiàng),，總經(jīng)費(fèi)超1億元,，并發(fā)表SCI研究論文或受邀綜述147篇，獲得國家科技進(jìn)步二等獎(jiǎng),、教育部高校自然科學(xué)獎(jiǎng)二等獎(jiǎng)等獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng),。本系也是基礎(chǔ)醫(yī)學(xué)教育的重要學(xué)科，承擔(dān)本科生,、研究生和各種繼續(xù)教育的生物化學(xué),、分子生物學(xué)以及細(xì)胞生物學(xué)課程教學(xué)，同時(shí)始終堅(jiān)持科研反哺教學(xué)，在提高醫(yī)學(xué)生創(chuàng)新能力培養(yǎng)中發(fā)揮了重要的作用,，獲得 “上海市教育先鋒號(hào)”稱號(hào),。
本系現(xiàn)有12名PI，其中國家杰出青年基金獲得者1名,，國家優(yōu)秀青年基金獲得者1名,，國家高層次青年人才3名，75名教職員工分布于各個(gè)PI研究課題組和2個(gè)教學(xué)相關(guān)的課程組,，其中正教授（研究員）15名,，副教授（副研究員）15名，博士生導(dǎo)師13名,，碩士生導(dǎo)師14名,，博士后15名。本系也率先建立一系列規(guī)范嚴(yán)格的研究生培養(yǎng)制度,，培養(yǎng)了一大批優(yōu)秀畢業(yè)生,，目前在讀研究生88名，其中博士生53人,，碩士生35人,。研究生培養(yǎng)制度成為學(xué)院示范，同時(shí)也為本系科研的良性循環(huán)提供了保障,。系內(nèi)支持PI的成長及青年研究人員的培養(yǎng),，已有4名PI成為交大級(jí)醫(yī)學(xué)院特聘教授，數(shù)名青年研究人員成為副研究員,。
Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Cell Biology
Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Cell Biology is the first department established by the College of Basic Medical Sciences. It is established based on the development of life sciences and the overall layout of discipline construction. The department is committed to conduct cutting-edge research that addresses critical clinical needs and to educate and train the next generation of biomedicine science leaders. Research in our department focus on fundamental and applied questions related to tumor biology, epigenetic regulation, cardiovascular disease, mitochondria biology and neurological diseases. We also engage in highly collaborative clinical research with affiliated hospitals of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine.
Since 2009, we have undertaken 108 projects of various types with a total funding of over 100 million, and published SCI research papers or invited reviews 147 papers, and won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, the second prize of the Ministry of Education's College Natural Science Award and so on. The department is also an important subject of basic medical education. It undertakes the teaching of biochemistry, molecular biology and cell biology courses for undergraduates, postgraduates and various continuing education.
Currently, the department has 12 principal investigators, 75 faculty members distributed in each research group, and 2 course groups including 15 professors, 15 associate professors, 13 doctoral supervisors, 14 master instructors, and 15 postdoctoral fellows. Furthermore, there are 88 students, including 53 doctoral students and 35 master students. The postgraduate training system has become a model for the college, and it also provides a guarantee for the virtuous circle of scientific research in the department.
We plan to recruit outstanding young investigators who aim to explore frontier research on metabolism regulation in a broad sense. And we are thriving to foster an outstanding research environment that is enriched with integrative intellectual expertise and modern technology. We are also pride to create a friendly, supportive, and interactive atmosphere to train our highly motivated students and postdoctoral trainees.
