上海交通大學(xué)醫(yī)學(xué)院位于創(chuàng)新求索,、文化薈萃,、包容并蓄的黃浦腹地,，紅墻映日,、梧桐環(huán)繞。其前身是由圣約翰大學(xué)醫(yī)學(xué)院(1896-1952),、震旦大學(xué)醫(yī)學(xué)院(1911-1952),、同德醫(yī)學(xué)院（1918-1952)于1952年全國高等學(xué)校院系調(diào)整時(shí)合并而成的上海第二醫(yī)學(xué)院，1985年更名為上海第二醫(yī)科大學(xué),。2005年7月,，上海交通大學(xué)與上海第二醫(yī)科大學(xué)合并，成立了新的由教育部,、上海市政府重點(diǎn)共建的上海交通大學(xué)醫(yī)學(xué)院,，進(jìn)入“985”高校行列，學(xué)校臨床醫(yī)學(xué)學(xué)科常年名列全國第一,。醫(yī)學(xué)院包含25個(gè)學(xué)院（系）,，12所附屬醫(yī)院。覆蓋生物學(xué),、基礎(chǔ)醫(yī)學(xué),、臨床醫(yī)學(xué)、口腔醫(yī)學(xué)等8個(gè)一級(jí)學(xué)科博士學(xué)位授權(quán)點(diǎn),、4個(gè)一級(jí)學(xué)科博士后流動(dòng)站,。學(xué)院現(xiàn)已發(fā)展成為一所享有較高國際聲譽(yù)，師資力量雄厚,，優(yōu)勢特色明顯,，學(xué)術(shù)成績卓著，集醫(yī),、教,、研以及社會(huì)服務(wù)全面發(fā)展的研究型、創(chuàng)新型院校,。

Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine (SJTUSM) was formerly known as Shanghai Second Medical College, which came into being through a merger of St. John’s University School of Medicine (1896-1952), Aurora University School of Medicine (1911-1952), and Tongde Medical College (1918-1952) in the nationwide reorganization of universities in 1952 and changed its name to Shanghai Second Medical University in 1985. In July 2005, Shanghai Second Medical University merged with Shanghai Jiao Tong University to establish a new key medical school, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, under the joint jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education (MoE) and the Shanghai municipal government. SJTUSM has 25 secondary schools (departments) and 12 affiliated hospitals. There are 8 disciplines authorized to offer doctoral degrees and 4 disciplines to offer postdoctoral programs, which cover Biology, Basic Medicine, Clinical Medicine and Stomatology. In 2019, SJTUSM passed the certification of the Clinical Medicine program by the Ministry of Education at a high level of quality. It was the only university in China that was inspected by the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) expert group and was highly praised by both foreign and Chinese experts.

上海交通大學(xué)醫(yī)學(xué)院-國家熱帶病研究中心全球健康學(xué)院（以下簡稱“SGH”）于2019年6月16日在上海成立，是上海交通大學(xué)醫(yī)學(xué)院下屬二級(jí)學(xué)院,，由上海交通大學(xué)醫(yī)學(xué)院和國家熱帶病研究中心共同承建,。SGH致力于建設(shè)世界一流的全球健康教育機(jī)構(gòu)和亞太地區(qū)領(lǐng)先的全球健康研究平臺(tái)。其使命是促進(jìn)具有全球視野的醫(yī)學(xué)人才的發(fā)展,，培養(yǎng)未來全球健康治理的領(lǐng)軍人才,。通過推動(dòng)全球健康學(xué)科的發(fā)展，SGH致力于在構(gòu)建人類健康的共同體中貢獻(xiàn)“中國智慧”,。SGH的研究聚焦于熱帶病和傳染病,、全球衛(wèi)生政策和標(biāo)準(zhǔn)、婦幼保健,、營養(yǎng)和食品安全以及心理健康,。SGH重點(diǎn)關(guān)注全健康理念的實(shí)踐和政策轉(zhuǎn)化，重點(diǎn)吸引從事人,、動(dòng)物和環(huán)境的交叉性研究者參與研究,。依托共建單位，SGH已與30多個(gè)國家70多家學(xué)術(shù)機(jī)構(gòu)建立了學(xué)術(shù)交流關(guān)系,。通過建設(shè)跨區(qū)域的全球健康教育機(jī)構(gòu)和跨學(xué)科,、跨部門學(xué)者的國際交流中心，SGH將成為國內(nèi)外一流專家的聚集地和國際學(xué)者的人才高地,。

The School of Global Health, Chinese Center for Tropical Diseases Research, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine (SGH) was established in Shanghai on June 16, 2019. The SGH is a sub-school under the Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, which is co-sponsored by the Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine and the Chinese Center for Tropical Diseases Research.
The SGH strives to build a world-class global health educational institution and a leading research platform on global health in Asia Pacific region. The mission of SGH is to promote the development of medical talents with global vision and to bring-up future leaders on global health governance. By advancing global health discipline, SGH contributes Chinese wisdom in the building of the community with a shared future of human health. SGH focuses its research on tropical diseases and infectious diseases, global health policies and standards, maternal and child health, nutrition and food safety, and mental health. The priority research field is one health, where SGH pays attention to the relevance and intersection of humans, animals and environment. Therefore, by building a cross-regional education institution on global health and an international exchange center facilitated by trans-disciplines and cross-sectors scholars, the SGH is to be a gathering venue with the first-class specialists at home and abroad, and a talent highland of international scholars. Relying on the co-construction units, it has established academic exchange relations with more than 70 academic institutions in more than 30 countries. 1. 人獸共患和熱帶病防治研究：人獸共患疾病防治,、熱帶病監(jiān)測、新發(fā)和再發(fā)傳染病應(yīng)急管理等,。
2. 動(dòng)物食物鏈中的健康與安全問題研究：食品安全與營養(yǎng),，微生物耐藥性控制，入侵動(dòng)物的生物安全等,。
3. 環(huán)境健康與生態(tài)安全研究：全球氣候變化與健康,、環(huán)境與疾病傳播、生物多樣性保護(hù)與發(fā)展等,。
4. 全健康治理與健康政策研究：法律法規(guī)與政策體系,、全健康生物安全保護(hù)、全健康傳播與健康行為促進(jìn),。
