2013 Shanghai Immunology Symposium convened successfully

The 2013 Shanghai Immunology Symposium, co-hosted by Shanghai Institute of Immunology (SII), Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine (SJTUSM) and Department of Immunology at Duke University Medical Center was held successfully on June 28th-29th. More than 150 immunologists, young researchers, and students from China and United States participated in the symposium.
Hongzhuan Chen, the Deputy Dean of SJTUSM, attended the opening ceremony and presented the history and the rapid development of SJTUSM. He expressed his confidence in the future of SII led by Dr. Bing Su, and appealed to all the experts who were present to offer their generous help and support. During the next one and half day, immunologists from SII and Duke University presented their latest research results. The topics discussed encompassed different fields in immunology including immune development,、response,、regulation and translational research etc.. Participants, especially young scientists and students benefited a lot from this symposium.
