RS2000 biological irradiator use X-ray as irradiation resource, ideal for small animal/local tumor and cell irradiation. Dose accuracy is approximate 2.5% and the dose distribution is better than 95% across the entire field. Irradiation dose: 0.1-16Gy/min=10-1600rad/min=10-1600cGy/min. For small animal research RS2000 provides a dose rate within the cage of 1.2 Gy/min. For Cell and local tumor irritation the RS 2000 has dose rates of >5 Gy/min filtered and up to >17 Gy/min unfiltered.
