上海交通大學(xué)醫(yī)學(xué)院耳科學(xué)研究所成立于2008年10月,，2014年經(jīng)上海市科委批準建設(shè)上海市耳鼻疾病轉(zhuǎn)化醫(yī)學(xué)重點實驗室,，由吳皓教授擔(dān)任所長和主任,。研究所依托上海交通大學(xué)醫(yī)學(xué)院、上海交通大學(xué)醫(yī)學(xué)院附屬第九人民醫(yī)院,，匯聚了一批耳科與聽覺醫(yī)學(xué)頂尖科學(xué)家和中青年人才，現(xiàn)有專職研究人員10位,、博士生導(dǎo)師7名,。近年來先后獲得科技部973重大科學(xué)研究計劃、國家重點研發(fā)計劃,、國自然重點項目,、上海市科委重大項目等多項基金支持，在國際學(xué)術(shù)期刊上發(fā)表SCI論文200多篇,。相關(guān)研究成果獲2018年國家科技進步二等獎,，2019年教育部科技進步一等獎等。
研究所聚焦于耳科與聽覺醫(yī)學(xué)的基礎(chǔ)和轉(zhuǎn)化研究,，相繼建立了耳聾分子生物學(xué),、聽覺神經(jīng)科學(xué),、聽覺超微結(jié)構(gòu)、聽覺結(jié)構(gòu)生物學(xué),、耳聾基因治療,、耳科手術(shù)機器人、生物樣本庫等實驗室,。實驗室具備國際一流的實驗設(shè)施和技術(shù)團隊,，主要研究方向有：1. 聽覺功能和疾病的結(jié)構(gòu)基礎(chǔ)與分子機制；2. 耳蝸神經(jīng)回路可塑性研究,；3. 感音神經(jīng)性耳聾發(fā)病機制及生物治療研究,；4. 耳科手術(shù)機器人研發(fā)；5. 聽神經(jīng)瘤發(fā)病機制及治療策略研究,。

Ear Institute Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine
Ear Institute Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine was founded in October 2008. In 2014, it was approved by Shanghai Committee of Science and Technology to establish Shanghai Key Laboratory of Translational Medicine on Ear and Nose diseases, with Professor Wu Hao as the director. With the support from Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine and Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital, the Institute brings together a group of top scientists and young talents in otology and audiology. Currently, There are 10 full-time researchers and 7 Ph.D supervisors. In recent years, it has got many grants , among which there are National Program on Key Basic Research (973 Program), National Key Research and Development Plan, Key Program of National Natural Science Foundation of China, Major Program of Shanghai Committee of Science and Technology, etc , with over 200 SCI papers published in international academic journals . Related achievements won the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award in 2018 and the First Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of National Ministry of Education in 2019.
The Institute focuses on the basic and translational research of otology and audiology medicine, and has successively established labs of deafness molecular biology, auditory neuroscience, auditory ultrastructure, auditory structural biology, deafness gene therapy, ear surgery robot, biological sample library, etc. It has an international first-class experimental facility and research team. Main research directions include: 1. Structural basis and molecular mechanism of auditory function and disease; 2. Cochlear neural circuitry plasticity; 3. Pathogenesis and biological therapy of sensorineural hearing loss; 4. Development of ear surgery robot; 5. Pathogenesis and treatment of acoustic neuroma.
