上海交通大學醫(yī)學院藥物化學與生物信息學中心是我院精準醫(yī)藥科研、教學和對外合作的主要基地。中心成立于2013年,由張健教授擔任主任,并于2020年5月與化學教研室整合。中心一直聚焦精準醫(yī)學和藥學創(chuàng)新技術的發(fā)展及其在臨床診療中的應用,自主研發(fā)的變構藥物設計技術在國際上具有重要影響力,近5年獲得國內外100多個國家60000余名醫(yī)藥用戶的使用。同時,中心承擔了國內外多項醫(yī)學大數(shù)據(jù)及人工智能的研究與轉化項目,培養(yǎng)了一批精準與轉化醫(yī)學大數(shù)據(jù)人才,為生物醫(yī)藥與人工智能時代的對接提供了支撐。
中心具有優(yōu)秀的師資隊伍,目前已有教師22人,其中75%具有博士學歷,其中正高1人,副高8人,博導和碩導4人。中心主任張健擔任上海交通大學醫(yī)學院特聘教授,國務院學位委員會學科評議組成員,國家自然科學基金委杰出青年基金、國家高層次人才計劃及國家高層次人才計劃青年項目獲得者,國家自然科學基金委創(chuàng)新研究群體成員,以通訊作者在包括Nat Chem Biol, Chem Rev, Chem Soc Rev等國際學術雜志上發(fā)表SCI論文100余篇。中心教師主要從事藥物設計、生物信息學、化學生物學及化學材料等研究方向,在精準靶標識別和First-in-class原創(chuàng)藥物發(fā)現(xiàn)等方向做出了一系列突破性成果。中心自成立以來已承擔國家重大研究計劃,國家新藥創(chuàng)制,上海市分子影像學重點實驗室項目、上海市科委揚帆人才計劃和基礎醫(yī)學院前沿研究青年支持等項目,發(fā)表新靶標和創(chuàng)新藥物相關工作120余篇。
在教學育人方面,中心的生物信息學及醫(yī)用化學教學團隊,每年承擔了研究生、本科生、留學生等各專業(yè)的教學工作。其中生物信息學團隊開設了“生物信息學”、“醫(yī)學圖像處理與分析”、“生物醫(yī)學數(shù)據(jù)挖掘”、“VB程序設計”、“計算機應用基礎”等課程。同時,醫(yī)用化學教學團隊開設課程有“醫(yī)用基礎化學”、“醫(yī)用有機化學”、“分析化學與儀器分析”、“色譜分析在醫(yī)藥上應用”等課程。中心每年共完成近1500學時的本科及研究生理論教學,同時輔助完成本科實驗教學約260學時,同時開展雙語教學課程。主編《有機化學》英文改編版,主持各級教學課題4項,發(fā)表高水平教學論文3篇,有多名教師擔任RBL及大創(chuàng)項目指導老師,其中1項大創(chuàng)獲得上海市級課題。
中心在學術交流發(fā)展方面,致力于與各界合作伙伴共同構建全球生物醫(yī)藥的創(chuàng)新生態(tài)。從原創(chuàng)科學研究到高效的成果轉化,與合作伙伴形成良好的互動與交流。中心先后與中國科學院上海藥物研究所、上海生物信息技術研究中心、中國科學院上海有機化學研究所、美國國家癌癥研究所實驗免疫學實驗室癌癥研究中心、上海市第九人民醫(yī)院、上海市第六人民醫(yī)院、新華醫(yī)院等開展了深入的合作與廣泛的學術交流,取得了一系列科研進展。
中心在本科生及青少年科創(chuàng)培養(yǎng)方面也取得了多項成果。作為交醫(yī)本科生創(chuàng)新基地,目前指導的5名學生獲各類獎項及基金資助20余項,多次獲得全國大學生生命科學競賽及上海市“挑戰(zhàn)杯”等重要獎項,發(fā)表多篇SCI文章。同時,中心作為上海市藥學會青少年科學種子輔導站、上海市醫(yī)學科學實踐工作站,成功舉辦科普夏令營,為未來的生物醫(yī)藥人才培養(yǎng)提供了前瞻性實踐。
Center for Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Bioinformatics
The Center for Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Bioinformatics in School of Medicine of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, is the main base for research, education and international cooperation of precision medicine. The Center was established in May 2013, headed by Professor Zhang Jian, and further integrated with the Medical Bioinformatics Center and Chemistry Teaching Department in May 2020. The Center has been focusing on the development of precision medicine and pharmaceutical innovation technology and its application in clinical diagnosis and treatment. The independently developed technology of allosteric drug design has an important influence in the world, and has been used by more than 60,000 medical users from more than 100 countries in the past five years. At the same time, the Center has undertaken a number of research and transformation projects of medical big data and artificial intelligence in the domestic and overseas, and cultivated a group of precision and translational medicine talents. It provides support for the docking of biomedicine and artificial intelligence era.
The Center has an excellent faculty. At present, there are 22 teachers in the Center, 75% of whom have doctor's degree. Among them, 1 is a senior, 8 are associate senior, and 4 are doctoral and master supervisors. Zhang Jian, director of the Center, is a distinguished professor of the School of Medicine of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, excellent doctoral supervisor of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, who has obtained the Outstanding Youth Fund of The National Natural Science Foundation of China, National High-level Talent Plan, National High-level Youth Talent Plan, and is also the member of the Innovative Research Group of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. As the corresponding author, he has published more than 100 SCI papers in international academic journals including Nat Chem Biol, Chem Rev, Chem Soc Rev and so on. Faculty members of the Center mainly participate in studies of drug design, bioinformatics, chemical biology and chemical materials, and have made a series of breakthrough achievements in precision target identification and first-in-class original drug discovery. Since establishment, the Center has undertaken one Shanghai Key Laboratory of Molecular Imaging, one Sailing Talent Program of Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, and one Frontier Research Youth Support Program of Basic Medical School, and published 120 papers associated with the identification of new target and drug discovery.
In terms of teaching, both the bioinformatics team and medical chemistry teaching team of the Center have undertaken teaching work for graduate students, undergraduate students and international students each year. The bioinformatics team offers courses such as "Bioinformatics", "Medical Image Processing and Analysis", "Biomedical Data Mining", "VB Programming" and "Computer Application Basis". At the same time, the medical chemistry teaching team offers courses such as "Medical basic Chemistry", "Medical Organic Chemistry", "Analytical Chemistry and Instrumental Analysis", "chromatographic analysis in medicine" and other courses. The Center has completed nearly 1500 credit hours of undergraduate and graduate theoretical courses every year, and assisted in 260 hours of undergraduate experimental courses, and it also offers bilingual courses. He is the chief editor of the English adaptation of Organic Chemistry. The teaching team has edited the English version of "Organic Chemistry", presided over 4 teaching projects, and published 3 high-level teaching papers. Many teachers have been the advisers of RBL and Great Innovation Projects, among which 1 project was awarded the Shanghai Municipal Level Project.
In terms of academic communication, the Center is committed to building a global biomedical innovation ecosystem together with partners from all fields. From original scientific research to efficient achievement transformation, it has formed good interaction and communication with partners. The Center deeply cooperates and communicates with the Shanghai Institute of Medicine of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shanghai Biological information technology research center, Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry of Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Experimental Immunology Laboratory Cancer Research Center of National Cancer Institute of the U.S.A., Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital, Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital and Xinhua Hospital, which has made a series of scientific research progress.
The Center has also made many achievements in the scientific innovation cultivation of undergraduates and teenagers. As the innovation base for undergraduate students of the school, 5 students under our guidance have won more than 20 awards and funds, such as the National College Students Life Science Competition and the Challenge Cup Competition of Shanghai, they have published many SCI articles. At the same time, as the teenagers’ science training station of Shanghai Pharmaceutical Association and Shanghai Medical Science Practice Workstation, the Center successfully held popular science summer camp, providing prospective practice for the cultivation of biomedical talents in the future.
