癲癇是一種重要的神經(jīng)疾病,,人群發(fā)病率約為1%。我國癲癇患者總數(shù)近1000萬,,其中,,耐藥性癲癇(drug-resistant epilepsy, DRE)患者約占30%,尚無有效的臨床藥物,。課題組采用在體腦電記錄,,免疫磁珠細胞分選,雙光子鈣成像,,光纖鈣記錄和膜片鉗等神經(jīng)科學領域前沿技術探究癲癇等重大腦疾病的發(fā)生發(fā)展機制,,我們重點關注顳葉性癲癇和腦中風伴發(fā)癲癇癥狀中膠質細胞與神經(jīng)元、免疫細胞與膠質細胞互作的機制(Nat Neurosci, 2023,;Nat Neurosci, 2024, revised,;Neuron, under review)。具體包括但不限于以下三方面研究內容:
1) 研究顳葉性癲癇疾病中膠質細胞和神經(jīng)元互作及其與癲癇進展之間的關系,,以此為突破口尋找抗癲癇治療的全新靶點,;
2) 開展癲癇腦(顳葉性癲癇和腦中風伴發(fā)的癲癇等)等重大腦疾病中外周免疫細胞和中樞神經(jīng)細胞(膠質細胞)互作的機制研究;
3) 外界環(huán)境刺激會誘導癲癇發(fā)生,其機制尚未明了,。我們重點關注聲音和光等外界環(huán)境刺激誘導癲癇發(fā)作的神經(jīng)環(huán)路機制,。
